Salary: $17.50/hour
Benefits: 2 weeks of vacation; transportation costs from the home country to the work location; private health care from the first day of arrival to the day the candidate is eligible for provincial health care
Term of employment: Full-time (30 hours to 40 hours per week); Permanent position
Job summary:
We are a Vietnamese restaurant providing traditional and cultural food of high quality, at exceptional price and with superb dining experience. We are currently looking for a Food Service Supervisor to add to our team. The ideal candidate is multi tasking and self-motivated who will be responsible for supervising and coordinating restaurant staffs in the kitchen and at the front.
Responsibilities and Duties:
o Supervise and coordinate activities of the restaurant staffs.
o Ensure and maintain accurate daily sale transactions including but not limited to cash drawers, debit/credit and cash floats.
o Train, inform and enforce the staff of all appropriate job duties, restaurant procedures and safety standards.
o Respond to customer issues and provide appropriate solutions to maintain high qualify service of the restaurant.
o Keep track of stock level and re-order as required.
o Maintain the general cleanliness of the service area.
o Prepare paperwork including staff daily work schedule, weekly inventories, and sales and waste reports.
Qualifications:
o Completion of high school is required.
o Minimum one year of experience.
o Ability to supervise 3-4 people.
o Organized, team player, and client focus.
