Position: Food Service Supervisor

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day

Wage: $18.50 – $19.00

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

At My Frosty Cafe, we serve all kinds of Asian style dessert such as Tiramisu, Fruit toast, Cheese cake, Cookies and of course our signature menu Bingsoo (Shaved Milk Ice). For drinks we serve Milk Shakes, Soda, Coffee & Tea to make our customers’ day a bit happier.

We are located in Renfrew Street, Vancouver and now looking for an experienced Food service supervisor to join our team!

 

Main duties

·        Oversees the daily food service in all areas of kitchen and dining room

·        Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

·        Handle shift schedules for food services workers and assign them tasks on daily basis

·        Coordinate frequent workplace inspections

·        Plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

·        Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of worker

·        Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

·        Ensure strict compliance with restaurant’s standards in all aspects of service

·        Participates in menu preparation, ensuring menus are updated and recipes are revised

·        Ensuring all equipment is clean and maintained

·        Communicate positively and enthusiastically to the restaurant patrons and address their issues promptly

 

 

Employment Requirements

·        Completion of secondary school

·        Flexible availability for weekends & holidays

·        At least 1 year of experience in customer service or similar rollmay be required

·        English language ability is required
