Summary:

Caroline Gas & Snacks is a gas station and food store located in Caroline, Alberta. We have been in business since 2018 and provide efficient gas services along with snacks and hot food. We have a small kitchen serving burgers, sandwiches, fries, baked goods, and other quick service items for local residents and transient travelers. We are currently seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth operation of the snack and hot food section of the store
• Coordinate activities of kitchen personnel and other staff
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise food service staff
• Manage payment system and special customer requests
• Manage and resolve customer complaints
• Maintain inventory and stock
• Prepare sales reports as needed
• Work with retail/gas area of store as required

Job Requirements:

• Completion of high school education
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required, preferable in food services environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time 
• Must be able to communicate in English

Compensation:

• $19.00 – $22.00/hour
