Bene sushi is located at 1574 Marine Dr in West Vancouver. Our extensive menu features traditional and fusion Japanese cuisine guaranteed to be made from only the freshest seasonal ingredients. It is one priority to provide our customers with delicious food and outstanding service. We have assembled an amazing team of kitchen and service staff, and now we are hiring the experienced food service supervisor.

Position: Food Service Supervisor

Employer: 0907674 BC Ltd. (o/a Bene Sushi Lounge)

Working (Business) Location: 1574 Marine Dr, West Vancouver, British Columbia, V7V 1H8

Vacancy: 2

Wage: $18.50 ~ $19.50 per hour and 4% of the gross income for paid vacation per year.

Working Condition: 30-40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

– Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

– Keep records such as amount and cost of meals served and hours worked by employees.

– Supervise serving of meals.

– Prepare work schedule and evaluate work performance of staff.

– Prepare food order summaries for cooking according to requests from customers.

– Respond to customer issues.

– Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.

– Organize the daily closing activities for the restaurant, including cleaning, dishwashing, food storage etc.

Requirement:

– Completion of secondary school

– 2+ years of experience in food preparation and service is required. Supervisor experience in a restaurant may be considered.

– Fluent oral English skill is required.
