Position: Full-time Food Service Supervisor

Open position: 1

Responsibilities:

– Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food,

– Perform restaurant opening/closing/reporting duties, including cleaning, dishwashing, food storage, etc.

– Supervise staff performance and assign duties.

– Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

– Keep records such as the amount and cost of meals served and hours worked by employees.

– Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food,

– Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures,

– Estimate and order ingredients and supplies,

– Address customers' complaints or concerns (Respond to customer issues),

– Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

 Requirement:

– Completion of secondary school is required.

– Completion of a community college program in food service administration or related discipline would be an asset.

– 2+ years of experience in food preparation or service is required.

– Good communication skills

– Good knowledge of food preparation and service.

Wage and working hours: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour with 30-40 hours a week.
