Food Service Supervisor

BBQ Chicken Stampede Corp. dba BB.Q Chicken in Calgary, AB is looking for an experience, full-time Food Service Supervisor.

Conditions       

• Position: Food Service Supervisor (Full-Time, Permanent Position)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Ability to do shift work according to work schedule (daytime, evening, night, weekends, holidays)
• Hourly Wage: $18.50/hour
• Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4 % gross salary
• Benefit: Tips & Meal Allowance, Dental and Extended Health Benefit
• Number of Position: 1

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school  
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required.
• Language: English

Job Duties

• Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of restaurant staff
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Estimate and order supplies, ingredients, and inventories
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns
• Perform cashier’s duty such as taking orders and processing payments if it needs.
