5 Flat Roofers Needed
West Point Roofing is an Edmonton-based roofing company and is currently seeking 5 full-time, year-round flat roofers. Must possess a great attitude, good communication skills, and integrity.
The individuals we are seeking must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in flat roofing. Secondary school education not required but preferred.
Successful applicants will be responsible for helping to oversee the integrity of applied various low sloped roofing systems, including SBS, EPDM, TPO. Flat roofers will assist with removal of old roofs, install new roofs, and perform repairs. Erects scaffolding and reads blueprints.
We offer a competitive wage starting at $27.30 – 31.00 per hour with increases based on performance. Reviews are conducted every 6 months. After a probation period of three months we offer medical and dental benefits, and long-term disability insurance.
Job Requirements:
Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Physically fit and able to lift up to 100lbs
Available to work on weekends, evenings and out-of-town work, if needed
Able to work at height’s
Able to climb up and down ladders at minimal height’s of 40 ft
Major Work Area: New construction, re – roofing, repairs
Type of Establishment/Work Setting: Commercial, Industrial, residential
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel toed safety boots
Work Conditions/Physical Capabilities: Fast paced environment, physically demanding
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel. Valid Driver’s License.
Work Location Information: Various locations throughout Alberta but mostly the greater Edmonton area
