Seoul Grill House is located at #100-15155 101 Ave. Surrey, BC V3R 7Z1. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time First Cook (Korean Food Cook). If you are interested, please submit your resume by mail or e-mail.
Position: First Cook
Wage: CAD$23.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Free meals at work
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook Korean food items for buffet including various Korean-BBQs, steamed and fried rice, stews & hot pots, salads, hot and cold noodles, side dishes, and other Korean dishes including seasonal menus;
• Prepare special house sauces;
• Oversee kitchen operations;
• Assist with chef in planning menus;
• Train other staff with respect to food preparation.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience;
• Korean food cooking experience an asset.
