Description
Rice and Noodle Restaurant is located at 202 & 204-7155 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5E 2V1. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time First Cook. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: First Cook
Wage: CAD$25.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30-40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Free meals at work, Tips
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook various Asian rice and noodle items including Pad Thai, Kung Pao, Chowmein, Mongolian stirfry, Tom Yun soup, Laksa, and other items on the menus;
• Prepare special house sauces;
• Oversee kitchen operations;
• Assist chef in planning menus;
• Train other staff with respect to food preparation.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience;
Language at work: English
