Term: Full time/40 hours/week/Permanent
Salary: $17.00- $20.00/hour depending on experience + tips
NOC: 63200 – Cooks
Vacation: 2 weeks’ vacation pay (4% of earnings)

Duties and Responsibilities
As a First Cook, key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus, determine size and food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Following daily tasks and routines outlined by your Sous Chefs + Head Chef
- Assisting your fellow partners in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
General Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience
- Secondary (High) School Diploma
- Food Safe Certificate
- Minimum 3 months of experience working with knives, combi ovens, deep fryers or open burners is required
- Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Keen eye for detail with cleanliness and food quality
- Great communication skills
