Allwood Carpentry Manufacturing is now hiring skilled FINISH CARPENTERS to join our busy team.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate has 3 or more years of work experience in millwork finish carpentry, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision both in shop and on job site.
- Experience with custom cabinetry is a must (not mass production).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Steel-toed safety shoes.
Duties:
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood and wood products to build custom cabinetry, mouldings, shelving, panels etc.
- Read and interpret sketches, blueprints, and drawings
- Fit and install custom cabinetry, trim, doors, shelving and other architectural wood designs on job sites
- Operate hand and power tools
- Some supervision of helpers and apprentices on job site
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day with overtime.
Work Location Information:
Shop located at 33 Atomic Avenue in Toronto, ON.
Travel required to various job sites in and around the GTA as assigned.
Wages: commensurate with experience between $35.00 to $40.00 per hour for full-time hours between 32 and 44 hours per week
