Osoyoos Green House is looking for 9 Green houseworkers for their Greenhouse Farm located in Osoyoos, BC. This is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week for the duration of one year. We are welcoming part-timers as well.

As a Green houseworker, you will be performing the following duties:

• Harvesting, washing, soil preparation, planting, weeding and other fieldwork.
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
• Examine quality of produce and prepare for market
• Load produce into trucks
• Spraying pesticides in order to protect crops from weeds and pests.
• Detect health problems in crops.
• Fertilizing and other duties as needed
• Clean and maintain farm tools after use
• Write and inform farm managers about the crop progress on daily basis.

Number of Positions: 9

What we offer:

• $15.65 per hour 
• 4% vacation pay
• Part-timers are welcome to apply

Requirements:

• No education or experience is required.
• No specific language requirement
• On-the-job training will be provided
