Extrusion Blow Moulding Operator

Description

Duties:

Weigh resins, colorants and other chemicals to formulae; Set up and operates extrusion blow moulding machines to produce HDPE bottles from virgin HDPE resin according to prescribed specifications;  Follow formulation card to mix ingredient batches; Monitor inventory of raw materials and requisitions replenishment product as required; Use appropriate moulds and equipment settings according to the production batch; Test and inspect finished product by using random samples for product conformance; Perform scheduled maintenance in accordance with standard operating procedure (SOP), trouble shoot and make minor repairs and adjustments as required; Coordinate major repairs with in-house technical personnel or specialist contract facilities; Track production levels and material in accordance with GMP regulations, assigning lot numbers, etc., and working closely with Quality Control personnel to ensure product compliance; Arrange for disposal of waste in environmentally acceptable manner (regrind or shipment to brokers dealing with materials of this nature); Maintain a safe and clean work area

Education:                           High School

Work experience:                 2-3 years

Credentials:                        Forklift Operator Certification

Wages:                               $39,000 p.a. for 35 hours/week + Bonus
