Acciona Facilities Services Canada (AFS) is an independent Acciona branch, with head office in Spain and offices/projects throughout the world. AFS PROVIDE  housekeeping SERVICES at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria Conference Center, BC Transit, VIHA Medical Clinics, Victoria Airport and five meat factories on Vancouver mainland. AFS have approximately 375 employees, and the head office is located at:

JOB DUTIES:

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area
• Ensure equipment and supplies are up to standard
• Assist the supervisor of maintenance and repair services.
• Assist in the implementation of operational procedures
• Plan and co-ordinate employee team event
• Participate in audit/inspection of assigned areas.
• Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Actively promote team work, coach and mentor employees
• Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are in compliance.
• Ensure hospital infection control.

Education: High School or equivalent

Experience & Skills: One year to two years of housekeeping experience. Physical fit. Team player. Excellent attention to details.

Language: English spoken and written

Hourly Rate: $ 17.10 to $18 per hour for 30 to 44 hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
