Position Info:

• Position: Carpenter
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $27.00~$30.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 8840 34 Ave NW Calgary T3B 1R8

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, assemble, shape, and join materials made of wood, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Install and fit trim items such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
• Lay subflooring, erect walls, and roof systems, and build foundations
• Calculate requirements and sketch to determine specifications
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures 
• May estimate cost for clients

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of experience in carpentry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
