Description
Support early childhood educators in carrying out programsthat promote the physical,
cognitive, emotional and social development of children,Assist early childhood educators or
supervisors in keeping records, Engaging children inactivities by telling stories, teaching
songs and preparing crafts, Preparing snacks and arrangingrooms or furniture for lunch and
rest periods Submit written observations on children to earlychildhood educators or
supervisors, Attend staff meetings to discuss the progress andproblems of children.
Requirements:
An Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) Certificateisrequired.
College/CEGEP or equivalent experience is required.
