Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
Working hours: 30 hrs ~ 40 hrs/week, Permanent, Full time
Hourly Wage: $19.00
Benefit: Extended Health and Dental care
Requirements:
-Completion of secondary education
-6 month experience in child care and completion course in early childhood education or related
-BC Early Childhood Educator Assistant certificate qualification
-Able to communicate in English
Job main Duties and responsibilities:
– Help children with activities such as storytelling and singing, as well as opportunities to express their creativity through dramatic play, music or physical activity
– Support early childhood educators in carrying out child education programs for physical and social development of children
– Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods
– Assist children to have proper eating, clothing, and toilet habits
– Maintain child care equipment
– Submit reports or observations on children
– Attend staff meetings for children progress or problems.
