Dami Sushi Japanese Restaurant is seeking F/T Food Service Supervisor

Position Info:

• Position: Food Service Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17~$19/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 10-4890 Rutherford Road, Nanaimo, BC V9T 4Z4

Benefits:

• 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Check and maintain inventory and order ingredients and supplies if they are needed
• Make sure every dish, food served and service meet the quality control standards
• Instruct and train workers in job duties, and procedures of sanitation and safety
• Manage and keep the records of stock, sales and wastage
• Establish work schedules
• Supervise the activities of staffs
• Involve in the recruitment of food service worker when required
• Resolve customers’ complaints or concerns

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
