Description
U & D Meier Dairy Ltd is looking for three (3) full-time Dairy farmworkers ASAP at their farm at 3698 South Parallel Rd, Abbotsford, BC. No degree, certificate or diploma is needed. They are willing to train workers who are organized, flexible and team players; they could understand, speak, and write English.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment handling heavy loads, hand-eye coordination, physically demanding; Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling; May work in an outdoor, hot, wet and damp environment; May be exposed to strong odors.
Specific skills and other duties: Monitoring animal health, feed and tend animals, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, milk cows, clean barns and barnyards, detect disease and health problems in livestock, set and monitor water lines, airflow, and temperature in barns, and perform general farm duties.
