Position Info:

• Position: Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.00~$23.50/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 128 – 1153 The High Street, Coquitlam, BC V3B 0G2

Benefits:

• 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
• 5 days paid sick leave per year

Job Duties:

• Prepares main menu items and speciality foods.
• Purchase kitchen supplies and food ingredients.
• Train and supervise cooks and kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking.
• Create menus and new recipes.
• Involve in hiring and recruitment process
• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
