Position Info:

• Position: Apprentice Plumber
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $31.25~$33.00/hour (depending on Experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 6966 195 Street, Surrey, BC V4N 5Y6

Job Duties:

• Set up, fix, and manage plumbing fixtures and systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
• Examine blueprints, diagrams, and specs to ascertain the arrangement of plumbing infrastructure, including water supply, and waste disposal systems
• Identify and designate spots for pipe connections, openings, and fixtures on walls and floors
• Create openings in walls and floors to fit pipes and fittings
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
• Determine piping systems and appropriate pipe sizes
• Cut, thread, bend, and measure pipes to meet specified shapes and dimensions

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 1~2 years of related experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
