Position: Cosmetics Salesperson – Retail
Working Hours: 40 hrs per week, shifted (including weekends)
Wage: $14.60 ~ $15.60 per hour
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Shoppers Drug Mart is a Retail Pharmacy Chain that provides goods and services in retailing like groceries, healthy living products, cosmetics and pharmacy items.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Sales Expectations
•Maximizes sales and awareness of promotional programs
•Identifies customers’ needs and sells through demonstration and education
•Possesses a “selling is fun” attitude
•Promotes sales of beauty products; provides information on new or existing products and services; conducts demonstrations
•Promotes sales through encouraging customers to participate in the PC Optimum program
•Introduces and promotes “beautyBoutique.ca” to customers
•Seeks out development such as through workshop/education sessions to ensure product knowledge is current
•Introduces and promotes Assisted Selling to customers
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
•Completion of secondary school
•Demonstrated sales ability and product knowledge are usually required for retail salespersons
•English is required
WORKING CONDITIONS
•Ability to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
•Ability to work in a fragrance filled environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
•Ability to climb ladder
•Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves
