Description
We are currently looking to fill two full time two positions of “Cook” at our Mary Brown’s location in Conception Bay South as soon as possible.
The ideal candidates would be fluent in English, have a secondary (high) school diploma and one (1) to less than (2) years of experience in a similar role.
Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a keen attention for details. Applicants must ensure that they are flexible, have proper judgement, be a team player, organized and client focused. Reliability is also an ideal quality in candidates.
Daily tasks will involve preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods, planning menus, determining sizes of food portions and estimate food requirements and costs. Successful candidates will also be required to monitor and order supplies, inspect kitchens and food services areas, train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Daily tasks will also include supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Duties include daily cleaning of kitchen and work areas.
The renumeration for the positions is $13.90 per hour.
