“O Sushi” Japanese Restaurant located at 742 Granville Street. Vancouver is looking to hire an experienced full time Cook. Details are below.
Position: Cook
Working Condition: Full Time, Permanent, 30~40 hrs per week
Wage: $16.25~$18 per hour
Work Location: 742 Granville Street Vancouver BC
Job Description:
– Preparing and cooking Sushi, Sashimi, rolls and other Japanese dishes
– Running the kitchen and maintaining records that what food has been prepared and what ingredients were used
– Ensuring food quality, presentation, and proportions
– Cooking food by either steaming, roasting, frying, braising or baking
– Clean kitchen and work area
– Ensuring maintenance of food temperatures, and functionality of kitchen
– Checking and maintaining inventory
Minimum Qualification Include:
– High School Diploma
– Minimum 2 year work experience in commercial cooking
– Basic understanding of cooking and knife handling skills
– Available on evenings and weekends
– Able to communicate in English
