Tomo Sushi in Aldergrove, BC is looking for a Cook to work with our team.
Title: Cook
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Salary: CAD 23.00 – CAD 25.00 per hour
Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 26391 Fraser Hwy, Aldergrove, BC V4W 2Z7
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- At least 3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
Main Duties:
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook cuisine from the menu such as sushi, sashimi, rolls, bento boxes, tempura, teriyaki, udon, salad, and etc.
- Plan menu and determine food portions and size
- Prepare salad dressings and sauces
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Monitor and order supplies
- Train kitchen helpers or new cook with advanced cooking skills
- May clean kitchen and work area
