Hamaei Japanese Restaurant is located at 2601 Westview Dr in the beautiful North Vancouver. Our extensive menu offers a wide range of Japanese cuisine from special sashimi and nigiris to entrees. We aim to provide an unforgettable dining experience to our customers. We guarantee to use only the freshest and finest ingredients sourced from around the world. We have assembled an amazing team of kitchen and service staff, and we are now looking for an experienced full-time cook position.

Working Location: 2601 Westview Dr, North Vancouver, BC V7N 3X3 Canada.

Wage: $16.50 ~ $18.00 per hour and 4% of the gross income for paid vacation per year.

Work Hours: 30~40 hours per week.

Start date of Employment: asap

Duties

– Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes and foods.

– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies and intolerances.

– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

– Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.

– Inspect kitchens and food services areas.

– Clean kitchen and workstation.

– Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

– Order supplies and equipment.

Requirements

– Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

– Experience: more than 2 years cooking experience or completion of other program in cooking.

– Japanese style food cook experience could be an asset.
