Busan Daeji Gukbap Restaurant Ltd. dba Busan Daeji Gukbap Restaurant in Burnaby, BC is looking for skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent cooks.

Conditions

• Position: Cook (Full-Time, Permanent position)
• Wage: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour (wage to be determined depending on experience and skills)
• Working hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
• Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year
• Benefit: Free meals during shift
• Positions Available: 2

Requirements

• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years or more commercial cooking experience as a Cook is required
• Language: English

Job Duties

• Prepare and cook dishes such as Korean fried chicken, Korean pig trotter, Korean traditional sausages, bibimbap, spicy rice cakes and etc.
• Prepare and prep the ingredients and ensure to maintain high quality of foods
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Monitor and order supplies
• Oversee kitchen operations
• May clean kitchen and work area
