Off Campus, The OC – is located right beside the University of Alberta. It is a neighbourhood gathering place serving only halal or kosher meat, where friends and family meet – a vibrant hub for students, faculty, and locals alike. Owned by a local family, who provide a warm and inviting atmosphere where friends gather to enjoy affordable prices, catch live sports, and create lasting memories.

We are looking to hire on a full-time base a cook, who can perform the following duties:

Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• To be able to cater to different customer diet needs and cook unique recipes if needed.
• Looking after kitchen operations and manage the stock of ingredients.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• To coordinate with the supervisor or operation manager(s) about new ideas and suggestions for menu.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen work area.

 

Qualifications:

• High School Certificate.
• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience.
• Strong reference is a must.
• No previous suspension for sanitary failure.
• Ability to work on weekends and flexible shift hours.
• A team player with a multi-tasking personality is highly regarded.
