Description
Our restaurant is located in Hope, BC and fully serves a wide range of Japanese-style cuisine, and offer take-out and dine-in service enjoyed by locals and visitors alike with reasonable price. Now, we are hiring the experienced Cook.
Employer: EK KIBO TRADING LTD. (o/a Kibo Japanese Grill & Café)
Position: Cook
Open position: 2 (part-time is also negotiable)
Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook food according to recipes such as various dons, noodles, appetizers, and tempura etc.
-Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
-Work with specialized equipment such as deep-fryer and grill etc.
-Clean kitchen and work area.
-May schedule and/or train kitchen helpers.
Requirement:
– Completion of secondary school.
– Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.
– 2 years or more experience as a cook.
– Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
– Good communication skills.
Wage and working hours: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour with 35-40 hours a week.
