J.I.A Holdings Ltd. operating as Noodle Box is looking to hire for the position of Cook for their location at 150-863 Village DR, Port Coquitlam BC, V3B 0G9. This is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week. We welcome part-timers to apply for this position.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for the following job duties:

• Prepare dishes from our menu and based on customer’s preferences.
• Collect the ingredients and sauces for the dish
• Determine the size of food portions, approximate food requirements and costs
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
• Prepare, wash and chop vegetables to be cooked.
• Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain overall sanitation, health, cleanliness and safety standards for food preparation areas and cooking station.
• Oversee kitchen operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Number of Positions: 1

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary school is  required
• 1-3 years of experience is required in cooking
• Basic English is required

What we offer:

• $18.00 per hour
• 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
• Term of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time position
