We are serving Gastown since 2003. At Brioche, we are passionate about bringing our patrons a warm place to gather around a table that leaves them wishing they had room for more. Our menu is based on rustic, hearty Italian flavors, shaped by hand-made principles and centred around fresh, quality ingredients. Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
– Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
– Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
– Oversee kitchen operations.
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment..
– May clean kitchen and work area.
– May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
– May hire and train kitchen staff.
Requirement:
– Completion of secondary school.
– 2 years or more experience as a cook.
– Good communication skills.
Wage and working hours: $16.75 – $18.00 per hour with 30-40 hours a week.
