Hourly Wage: $32.00 (Depends on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay

Primary Service of Business: General Construction and Renovation of Commercial and Residential Projects

 

 

Services in General Construction and Renovation of Commercial and Residential Projects; that includes services in different areas such as tiling, painting, plumbing, electric, carpentry, flooring etc.

 

 

 

MAIN DUTIES:

 

 

● Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in bricklaying, roofing, cement finishing, tile setting, plastering, drywall installation, glazing, insulating and painting, and workers who install and service prefabricated products in residential and commercial properties

● Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors

● Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

● Requisition materials and supplies

● Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

● Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions

● Prepare work progress reports

● May manage the operations of own company

● May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers

 

Employment requirements:

 

 

● Completion of secondary school usually required

● 2 years of previous experience in the work area supervised are usually required
