Job Duties:
Load and unload materials, and move to work areas
Assist tradespersons such as carpenters as required in construction activities
Assist in aligning pipes and perform related activities during oil and gas pipeline construction
Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites
Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
Remove gravel and debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as lifts, compressors and pumps
Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment
Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Job Requirements:
Punctual
Attention to detail
Drivers licence is an asset
Willing to work long hours if needed
Willing to work out of town with evenings and weekends
Able to work independently and part of team
Work Experience:
Willing to train – Experience with Fabric Installation is an asset
Education:
Some secondary is an asset
