Position Info:

·         Position: Painter

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $25~28/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 2223 E. 54th Ave Vancouver, BC V5P 1Y8

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Communicate with clients to ensure the colour and design they desire
• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture
• Consult customers on colour selections and wall coverings
• Use paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes on the exterior and interior surfaces
• Repair cracks and holes
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
