Description
Position: cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $14.60 ~ $18.00/hr (depending on experience)
Working Hour: 30 – 40 hrs/week
Benefits: 4% Vacation pay
Job Duties:
· Prepares complete meals
· Plan new menu items, regulate size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies
· Order kitchen supplies and equipment
· Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
· Inspect kitchens and food service areas
· Always keep kitchen and food preparation area clean and sanitized
· Supervise kitchen helpers and other staffs
· Train other kitchen helpers in preparation, cooking and handling food items
· Recruit and hire staffs
Experience requirements: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience
Educational Requirements: Completion of secondary school
Language Requirements: English
