Campbell River Lodge is now hiring the experienced Hotel Manager.
Employer: Campbell River Lodge Ltd.
Position: 2 Full-time Hotel Manager
Working Condition: Working (Business) Location: 1760 Island Hwy, Campbell River, BC, V9W 2E7
Wage: $26.50 – $28.50 per hour
Working Hour: 35 ~ 40 hours a week.
Benefit: 10 days or 4% from gross income for paid vacation per year.
Duties:
– Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures for the operation of the department.
– Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to help improve customer service.
– Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities for conventions, banquets, receptions and other functions.
– Evaluate hotel performance and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
– Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies.
– Deal with maintenance issues, equipment, renovations etc.
– Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc.
– Supervise work at all levels (receptionists, kitchen staff, maids, office employees etc.) and set clear objectives.
– Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating hotel.
Requirement:
– Completion of college courses related to the hotel management is required.
– 2+ years of working experience as a manager in the hotel industry is required.
– Able to work day and night.
– Fluency in English.
