Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

Field of study: Civil Engineering Technology/Technician

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people

Own Tools/Equipment: Hard hat, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Sound discrimination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Civil Engineering Technologists Specific Skills

Prepare project schedules, Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations and testing of construction materials, Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates, Prepare engineering designs and drawings

Civil Engineering Technicians Specific Skills: Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations, Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings
