Chouinard Exterior Wall Systems Ltd. is seeking Full-Time Carpenters.
Position Info:
- Position: Carpenter
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $29.00~$32.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 6743 Grant Road West, Sooke, BC V9Z 0P5

Job Duties:
- Determine specifications and calculate requirements by reading and interpreting blueprints and sketches
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials including wooden materials
- Lay subflooring, erect walls and roof systems, build foundations, and install floor beams
- Maintain, renovate, or repair residences and wooden structures
- May estimate cost for clients
Job requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Experience: 2~3 years of experience in carpentry are required
- Language: English
