Description :

VACANCY: 1 full-time permanent; can start as soon as possible

SALARY: $15.00 CAD per hour; 40 hours/week

EMPLOYMENT CONDITION: to be determined

CHILDRENS AGE: newborn, 1 year old and 9 years old

JOB REQUIREMENT:

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Security and safety: Criminal record check; reference required

Transportation/travel information: public transportation is available

Work conditions & Physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding

Work location and work site environment: employer’s home; non-smoking

Personal Suitability: Judgment, organized, team player, client focus, flexibility, reliability

SKILLS: Assume full responsibility of the household in absence of the parents; perform light housekeeoing and cleaning duties; maintan a safe and healthy environment in the home; prepare infant and children for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infant; take children to and from chool and to appoinments if needed; Bathe, dress and feed infant and children; Disciplie children according to the methods requested by the parents. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; organize activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Supervise and care for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children.

Weight Handling: up to 23 kg(50 lbs)

Certification: Emergency child care first aid and CPR is an asset
