Child caregiver – private home (Permanent employment, Full time30 to 40 hours / week)

Salary: $17.00 to $17.50 / hour (To be negotiated)

Tasks:Supervise and care for children, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Travel with family on trips and assist with children supervision and housekeeping duties, Bathe, dress and feed children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Prepare children for rest periods, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for an infant,Tend to emotional well-being of children
Job requirements
Languages:English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Personal Suitability: Client focus, Effective interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
