Description
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Childcare for a family with 2 working parents. Children are 2,4 and 8. Role includes light housework including laundry and some food preparation.
Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents. Bathe, dress and feed younger children, discipline consistent to the methods requested by the parents, prepare and execute naps, prepare and give bottles, change diapers. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Tend to the emotional well being of the children.
WORK SETTING: Employer’s home. Optional accomodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. NOTE: this is not a condition of employment.
PERSONAL SUITABILITY
We are looking for someone who can take initiative, has good judgement, is flexible, team player, strong interpersonal skills, good oral communicator, experience and genuine enjoyment working with young children.
Criminal record check, highschool education or greater, and experience with children are important qualifications.
