Kordonski family of Maple, Ontario L6A 4W7 is looking for a reliable person to care for our 2 lovely minor sons in the setting of our home. The caregiver would:

Supervise and care for our sons in the setting of our home; instruct and supervise them with dressing, manners and healthy eating habits, in personal hygiene and social development; prepare and serve nutritious meals – occasionally might need to shop for children’s food; keep records of daily activities; tend to emotional well-being of children; need experience in creating nurturing and safe environment and decompressing stressful situations arising between siblings; patience, compassion and sensitivity to children’s daily needs is required; able to administer Asthma medication and puffers;

Take them to and from school; help our sons with homework; assume full responsibility of the household in absence of parents; maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; discipline our children according to the methods requested by the parents; perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; accompany the family during national and international travels; care for our dog, when needed.
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Education: Completion of high school or equivalent experience
Children’s Ages: 8 and 12-year-old boys
Security and Safety: Reference required, criminal record check
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available, travel expenses paid by the employer, willing to travel
Work location information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, room and board provided, relocation costs covered by employer
Work site environment: NON-SMOKING AND SCENT FREE ENVIRONMENT IS STRICTLY OBSERVED
Credentials: First aid certificate, CPR Certificate
Personal Suitability: Judgement, organized, initiative, team-player, flexibility, excellent written and oral communication skills (English), effective interpersonal skills; the applicant must have a high level of responsibility

Salary: $15.00 per hour, 40 hours per week; morning, day, evening, occasional overtime
This is a permanent, full-time position. The applicant will need to work a split shift: 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays;

Start date: December 28, 2019
