Book Kyung Ban Jeoun Restaurant is located 1638 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 1C7. We are currently looking for permanent, full time Chefs. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Chef
Wages: CAD$22.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food;
• Prepare and cook various Chinese food items on the menu and other specialty dishes;
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs;
• Create new recipes;
• Supervise activities of cooks and staff;
• Monitor and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation required;
• Chinese cooking experience an asset;
• Cook certificate an asset.
