We are looking for a new member to join our team of experienced chefs who are dedicated to perfection, ensuring that each plate is a delicious work of art, for all customers.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and cook all dishes in our breakfast, lunch menus, specialty meals, and create decorative food displays for special events as per customers’ requests.
  • Supervise activities of line cooks and other kitchen workers.
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff.
  • Instruct line cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
  • Create new recipes and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Assist head chef and owner in planning menu, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.
  • Assist head chef and owner in arranging for equipment purchases, maintenance, and repairs.

Employment Requirements:

  • Completion of at least a 6-month to 1-year cooking certificate.
  • At least 6 months of relevant work experience.
  • Food safety certification is an asset.
  • Basic English communication skills are required.
