Motor Werke is growing and we are looking for experienced Automotive Service Technicians. We work on some of the finest-made vehicles on the road today, with the latest equipment, information systems, live tech support, and offer ongoing training. Main duties:
- Electrical and engine troubleshooting and diagnostics of all vehicles, focusing primarily on European makes and models new and old!
- Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor.
- Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialised automotive repair equipment.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer's performance specifications.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups.
- Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers where applicable.
- Provide a level of service that is unparalleled in our industry.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Red Seal or ITA Trade Certificate required or evidence of the skills to obtain one, including either successful completion of a four-year automotive service technician apprenticeship program OR a combination of over four years of work experience as an automotive technician and industry courses in automotive technology.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
- Sufficient English language skills in both speaking and writing.
- Ability to work well with peers.
- Self-motivated and a willingness to learn.

This position is full-time and permanent.
Work hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5 pm with the opportunity for overtime.
