Description

We are specialists in epoxy floor coating systems and offer a range of concrete pouring services in residential and commercial. We are now hiring full-time Cement Finishers.   Employer: MAYA CONCRETE & EPOXY COATINGS INC. Job Title: Cement Finisher (NOC 73100) Vacancy: 10     Job Duties:

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
• Cutting expansion joints with a power saw, aligning forms to desired depth and pitch, directing the casting of concrete.
• Produce various final finishes on concrete surfaces based on job-specific requirements, using rough/fine brooms or special groove rakes.
• Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces.
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute to direct concrete on forms.

  Job Requirements:

• Education: Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• Experience: Completion of a two- to four-year apprenticeship program OR over three years of work experience in the trade are required.

  Wage: $33.00 ~ $34.00 per hour and entitled to 4% of total wages as vacation pay. Working hours: 30-40 hours per week   Business Address: 10176 174 St Surrey, BC V4N 4K3 Working Location: Various Locations, Lower Mainland, BC
