Position: Catering Supervisor

Working Hours: 32 hrs per week / 8hours per day / 4days per week

Wage: $17.50 – $19.00

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Zip-Bab food service is a catering food service company located in Coquitlam BC. We provide freshly made Asian style meal box with healthy ingredients. We change our menu weekly so the customer can enjoy different tastes every week. We are now looking for an experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team!

 

 

Main duties

·        Oversees the daily food service in all kitchen area

·        Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

·        Handle shift schedules for food services workers and assign them tasks on daily basis

·        Coordinate frequent workplace inspections

·        Plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

·        Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of worker

·        Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

·        Ensure strict compliance with company’s standards in all aspects of service

·        Participates in menu preparation, ensuring menus are updated and recipes are revised

·        Ensuring all equipment is clean and maintained

·        Communicate positively and enthusiastically to the customers and address their issues promptly

 

 

Employment Requirements

·        Completion of secondary school

·        Flexible availability for weekends & holidays

·        At least 1 year of experience in customer service or similar role may be required

·        English language ability is required
