Tasks

Operate cash registerProcess money, cheques and credit/debit card paymentsScan itemsTabulate total payment for goods or services requiredReceive payment for goods or servicesCalculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total salesStock shelves and clean counter areaGreet customersAccept reservations or take-out ordersWrap or place merchandise in bagsWeigh produce and bulk foodsProvide customer serviceAssist customers with self-checkoutMonitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessaryParticipate in promotional activitiesVerify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
