Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work start date: As soon as possible
Wage rate: $22.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
Language: English (basic)
Benefits: 4 % Vacation pay
Eknoor Construction Ltd. located in Langley is looking for 2 carpenter helpers to join its team.
Job Duties:
• Load, unload and transport construction materials,
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Assist in demolishing buildings
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding
Work Site Environment: Outdoors Work
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Essential Skills: Working with others, Significant use of memory, Continuous Learning
Job Requirements:
Education: No education required
Experience: On the job training
Language: Basic English
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine. Aboriginals, and newcomers who meet the abovementioned criteria are more than welcome to apply for the job.
