noh design & construction ltd is seeking a carpenter to join the team.

• Start date: As soon as possible

• Job duties:

1. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
2. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
3. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
4. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
5. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
6. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures

• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

• Language of work: English

• ​Wage: CAD$ 25.00 – 30.00 per hour – based on work experience

• Hours of work per week: 40 hours per week

• Benefits package offered: 4% vacation pay

• Educational requirement:  Completion of secondary school

• Required work experience: 1 years to less than 2 years
